Happy Birthday: Nick Adams (1931-1968)

Actor Nick Adams is a relative blip on the stardom radar in contemporary popular culture. The young actor passed away in 1968 at the age of 36 years old. In the short span of his career, Adams racked up 65 credits on film and television.

Adams is perhaps best known to today’s audiences for his supporting roles. He appears in Rebel Without a Cause (1955) as one of Buzz’s gang.

In another blink-and-you-miss-it role, Adams also features in the Rock Hudson/Doris Day classic Pillow Talk (1959).

Classic television fans will recognise Adams from his role in The Rebel. The television series ran from 1959 through 1961 on ABC.

Adams worked steadily throughout his career, with his last credits coming in 1968.

The actor would be celebrating his 87th birthday today.
